Quote Follow-up Templates
Follow up the quotes you send without sounding pushy. Pick the situation, add your details if you like, edit the message and copy it into your own email or phone. Every message is polite and factual, with no invented urgency or discounts.
Where are you with the quote?
Each detail you enter replaces its [placeholder] in the messages. Leave a field empty to keep the placeholder and fill it in later. Only the fields this message uses are shown.
Nothing you type is saved or sent. It stays on this page until you close or reload it.
A simple follow-up rhythm
- A few working days after sending: the first follow-up, to check the quote arrived and invite questions.
- If they ask something or raise the price: answer it directly, and send a revised quote if the scope changes.
- About a week later, if there is still no reply: one more short message — then close the loop.
How the templates work
- Details you fill in replace the [placeholders] in every message. Anything left blank stays visible as a placeholder, and each message lists the gaps still in it.
- Edit any message directly. Your edits are kept until you select “Undo my edits”.
- Nothing is saved or sent. Copy the message into your own email or phone.
Common questions
How soon should I follow up a quote?
A few working days after sending it is a common rhythm, then once more about a week later. If there is still no reply, the close-the-loop message ends things politely and leaves the door open.
Should I offer a discount when a customer says the price is too high?
These templates do not. Explaining what the price covers, then offering a real change to the scope — leaving part of the work out, or a simpler option — keeps your price honest. If you decide to offer a discount, add it yourself.
Can I add a deadline to get a faster answer?
The only date in these messages is your quote’s own validity date, if you fill it in. They deliberately avoid invented deadlines, limited offers or claims about busy schedules.
Is anything I type saved or sent?
No. The messages are filled in on this page only. Copy the one you need into your own email or phone; nothing is stored or sent from here.
