Review Request Kit
Paste the link to your business’s review page and get a polite request email, a short text message and a printable review card with a QR code — all asking customers for honest feedback, nothing more. The QR code is made in your browser and opens your link directly.
Ask customers for an honest review
1. Your business and review link
2. Test your link
Enter your review link first.
Nothing is saved or sent. The QR code is made in your browser.
Your kit
Enter your business name and a valid review link to see the messages and the card.
Finding your Google review link
- Sign in with the Google account that manages your Business Profile, and open your profile (search for your business name on Google or Maps, or go to your Business Profile manager).
- Look for the option to ask for reviews or share a review form — at the time of writing it is labelled “Ask for reviews” or “Get more reviews”. Google moves these menus from time to time.
- Copy the link it shows. It usually starts with
https://g.page/r/. Paste it above and test it.
Only use the link from your own profile. If you cannot find the option, Google’s Business Profile help pages explain the current steps. For other review sites, use the “write a review” link from your business page there.
Asking well
- Ask soon after the job is finished, while the experience is fresh, and ask once — a single reminder at most.
- Ask every customer the same way. Do not offer rewards for reviews, ask for a particular rating, or send only happy customers to the review page.
- Reply to reviews, good and bad, briefly and politely. The review rating calculator shows how ratings change as reviews come in.
Common questions
Does the QR code go through a tracking link or shortener?
No. The code contains your review link exactly as you entered it, so a scan opens that page directly. It is generated in your browser; nothing is uploaded, shortened or counted, and the code keeps working as long as your link does.
How do I know the link is right?
Open it before you download — step 2 asks you to. A link that looks correct can still point to the wrong business or a page that has moved, and this tool cannot tell whose page it is. After downloading, scan the card with your phone camera.
Can I offer a discount for a review, or only ask happy customers?
This kit does neither, on purpose. Offering incentives, asking for a particular rating, or sending only satisfied customers to the review page while steering others elsewhere goes against the policies of most review platforms and, in many places, consumer-protection rules. Ask everyone the same way and let them say what they think.
What size is the card?
A6 (105 × 148 mm), with the QR code 53 mm wide and a white border around it so phones can read it. Download one card as a PDF or PNG, or four cards on an A4 sheet to cut out. Print at 100% (actual size), not “fit to page”. The card names the website the code opens; a short address is printed in full, while a long one is left to the QR code rather than printed too small to read.
Does it work for review sites other than Google?
Yes — any public web link to your own review page works. Only links starting with https:// (or http://) are accepted.
Is anything saved or sent?
No. The messages are for you to copy into your own email or messaging app; this page sends nothing and keeps nothing after you close it.
